On April 17, at the five-star Stradom House Autograph Collection hotel located at 12-14 Stradomska Street in Kraków, the sculpture of the Stradom Dragon was unveiled. The piece was created based on a design by Professor Bronisław Chromy, the artist behind the famous Wawel Dragon. The unveiling ceremony was attended by Ms. Grażyna Chromy, daughter of the artist and representative of the Bronisław Chromy Foundation. Stradom House is the first hotel to join Kraków’s Dragon Trail.
-We want to show that Stradom House is an open space, fully integrated into Kraków’s cultural life. The dragon, just like our entire venue—including Hedwig’s Club, the Stradomska 12 and Gaia restaurants, and the SÓL Spa—is open to the local community. We warmly invite everyone to visit us and explore our contemporary art collection, which features 70 works by international artists. Among them is another sculpture by Bronisław Chromy, so our dragon has truly found itself among family- says Izabela Lis-Ozimek, General Manager at Stradom House.
The Stradom Dragon sculpture has found its home in the Secret Garden of Stradom House, at the foot of the former Baroque chapel, now home to the popular Hedwig’s Club.
To mark the unveiling, a fairy tale about the Stradom Dragon, written by Rafał Stanowski, was also presented.
The media patron of the event was the portal www.naszemiasto.pl.
