Progress on the Angel River site
Progress on the Angel River site – intensive reinforced concrete works
Intensive reinforced concrete works are underway. Two tall cranes are already in place, and the site is serviced by around 200 concrete mixer trucks a day. Despite the early stage, over half of all available apartments have been sold.
Angel River is a nine-storey building and a seventeen-storey residential tower. Both structures are being developed concurrently. Two tower cranes are already on site – one of them 74, and the other 48 meter tall. A third crane will arrive in March/April.
“Intensive reinforced concrete works are underway. We are reinforcing and concreting successive areas of the foundation plate and vertical elements such as walls and columns. On concreting days the site uses from 100 to 200 concrete mixer trucks that deliver between 120 and 400 m3 of concrete” says Sebastian Bieńkowski, Technical Director at Angel River.
The works on the underground part, which covers three levels, are scheduled to conclude in April 2017. Ultimately, the construction site will be manned by 300 workers. The works on the Angel River project are planned to complete in the third quarter of 2018. The total costs of the investment is estimated at PLN 110 million. Within its scope, on the bank of the Oława river the investor will develop a marina and create a boulevard available to everyone. In the future it will become a part of a longer recreational route that will be created under the Przedmieście Oławskie Revitalization Program. The investor will also reconstruct the intersection of the Traugutta street and the Miernicza street, and build an access road – extension of the Miernicza street in the direction of the bank of the Oława river and the Angel River investment.
The General Contractor is Karmar S.A., a company that completed investments including Rezydencja Foksal, Grzybowska 43 in Warsaw, and Silver Tower Center in Wrocław.
The Angel River architectural design was prepared by Maćków architectural studio, on the basis of the concept developed by Gottesman Szmelcman Architecture.
“The project utilizes the full potential of the location, in the direct vicinity of the river, next to extensive green areas, but also in direct proximity to the very centre of the city. The construction started in September, and the sales have already reached over 50%” says Ron Ben Shahar, partner at Angel Poland Group, investor for the Angel River project.
The Angel River apartment building will comprise a total of 341 units having the area between 24 and 118 square meters – from studios to five bedroom suites. Additionally, the building will house a fitness zone with saunas and a spa, an executive lobby with a meeting area for the residents, guest parking spaces in the underground garage, and a playroom for children.
For Angel Poland Group this comes as one more project in Wrocław, after the Angel Care Senior Living Complex (in operation since April 2016), a five-star hotel The Granary, and the OVO Wrocław multipurpose complex.
